Drag racers to burn rubber

DRAGSTERS are reminded to rev up their engines for the ‘Drag and Track’ at Dezzi Raceway on Sunday, September 29. This is the first drag race and time trial event hosted by South Coast Car Club in association with BMW Car Club.

It promises to be an exciting opportunity for hard core drag racers and backyard mechanics to challenge each other on the track. Heads will roll and rubber will burn as drivers put their modified engines to the ultimate test.

To enter, drivers are required to have a valid MSA licence and a street legal or full race-prepared vehicle.

Come and be part of the action and witness the quarter-mile head to head bracket racing at its best, as well as circuit time attacks. With this being the ultimate spectator event, the organisers invite everybody with petrol running through their veins to come along and enjoy a day that will wreak havoc on their senses.

Entries are on a first come first served basis and orgainsers will be capping the entries at 80 racers.
