Flowers, food and fashion

The beautiful old building known as Crowhurst Lodge in Kloof will be host to the 'Flowers, Food and Fashion' expo.

KWAZULU-NATAL Flower Arrangers and Judges Panel presents ‘Flowers, Food & Fashion’ at the historical Crowhurst Lodge, 74 Everton Road, Kloof, KwaZulu-Natal from March 28 to 30,10am to 4pm daily.  Tickets are R60, including teas.

A ‘Fascinating Fashion Show’ with wine and cocktail snacks will take place at Crowhurst on Friday and Saturday March 28 and 29 from 5.30 pm to 7.30pm. Some new trends for young and mature will be modelled. Tickets R160.

Daily cooking demonstrations: March 28, 10.30 to 11.30am. International Swiss chef, Markus Banzinger (Total Catering Concepts) will show you some of his mouth-watering culinary delights. March 29, 10.30 to 11.30am. Renowned chef Jacqui Rey (Food Matters) will delight the taste buds, and from 2 to 3pm, international chef, Catherine Gardener will show off her different culinary skills, as well as on March 30, 10.30 to 11.30am.

In conjunction with these daily demonstrations, some of the recipes will be depicted and designed by floral artists. Tickets are R100 per session, including tea and viewing of flowers. Part of the proceeds will go towards the Multiple Sclerosis Society (charity number NPO 002 318). There is limited seating available, so booking is essential.
