Half-century reunion for Sheppie’s Class of ’64

Reminiscing about their school days are Sandy Brauteseth and Vic Bard, two of the organisers of the Port Shepstone High School class of 1964 50-year reunion.

PORT Shepstone High  former classmates Liz Page (nee Gilmour), Vic Bard, Mike Brauteseth and Sandy Brauteseth (nee Clayton) are organising a 50-year reunion and would love to hear from you. Perhaps you were members of the rugby, hockey or other sporting teams or interest groups and know how to contact former teammates? Do give them a ring and tell them about the reunion. The organisers are hoping for an excellent turnout and want to contact as many classmates as possible.

The celebration will take place at Zizi’s Restaurant at Umdlalo Lodge in Umtentweni on Saturday, April 5. Everyone will meet at noon for a class photo shoot. The reunion luncheon takes place at 1pm.

Liz, Vic, Mike and Sandy have been spreading the news and a number of their classmates have already confirmed they will be there. They include well-known, even famous, 1964 matriculants like popular former South Coast businessman Malcolm Rennie, actor and ‘Egoli’ star Eckhard Rabe and explorer, humanitarian and author Kingsley Holgate.
