Howling Moon open mic at Sheppie CC

CONTINUING to boost its growing reputation as one of the top music spots on the coast, Port Shepstone Country Club is to host its second Howling Moon Open Mic evening this Friday.

The club’s new covered courtyard and lit stage is proving to be popular for concerts and has already attracted some top acts like Piet Botha and his Akkedis Band. Regular Dave Marks Sunday lunchtime gigs are also attracting great crowds.

Friday’s night’s Open Mic is free and open to all.

Saffron Chefs will provide top-class meals (even catering for the latest Banting dieters) and braai fires will be available.

Several better-known local musicians and comedians have already committed, but the evening is open to anyone else who would like to show off their skills in front of a forgiving, but enthusiastic audience.

Just bring your voice or instrument-of-choice and plug in.
