Inspiring musical opens at Southcity

JAM-packed with lively music, dance and drama, the inspiring musical, ‘Sarafina’, is being staged by Southcity Christian College as its annual drama production this year.

Based on the 1976 Soweto uprisings and beautifully brought to life by the college’s talented actors, it opens at the school hall tonight (Thursday) at 6pm. There will also be a performance tomorrow at 6pm.

Vuyo Majeke takes the title role and drama teacher Samantha Moore is the director. Tickets are R25 for scholars and R35 for adults. They may be purchased at the door. Please note there is an age restriction of 13 years.
