Nibs van der Spuy to perform in Oribi

Nibs van der Spuy is one of the most extraordinary and exciting acoustic guitarists and he will be playing at Oribi Gorge Hotel on Sunday, May 20.

World renowned South African artist Nibs van der Spuy will play at Oribi Gorge Hotel on Sunday, May 20, from 12.30pm

Tickets are selling for R200, which includes a delicious Sunday buffet of roast beef and accompaniments, chicken curry and a chocolate mousse for dessert.

Nibs is one of the most extraordinary and exciting acoustic guitarists to come out of South Africa. Raised in KwaZulu-Natal, Nibs immersed himself in his natural environment to formulate a truly consummate and original sound.

Nibs said that when his third solo album, ‘Beautiful Feet’ was released internationally, it was a leap of faith to go full time with music and, since 2006, he has played extensively in Europe (mainly France), the UK and Australia.
