‘Othello’ comes to Port Shepstone

THINK Theatre’s touring school production of ‘Othello’ will be staged at Port Shepstone High School on March 23 at 10am.

A vital learning aid for high school pupils studying this Shakespearean tragedy as a setwork, the production is widely appreciated by school teachers, pupils and their parents.

As ever before, the great work continues to hold today’s audiences in its grip, as its core themes of love, envy, corruption and betrayal remain powerfully relevant to the human condition.

‘Othello’ is directed by multi-award winning actress Clare Mortimer who is also an accomplished English teacher. Nhlakanipho Manqele plays Othello. Cara Roberts appears as his doomed young wife, Desdemona, and Clinton Small as the evil Iago.
