Popular duo entertains after rugby

THE acoustic duo, ‘The Kickstands’, will be at The Rock Music Bistro, Umzumbe, this Saturday evening, February 28, to entertain guests from about 9pm, after the Lions versus Stormers rugby match has been screened on the venue’s large outdoor screen.

Since 2009 when the group was formed it has moved progressively into the Durban music scene, quickly gaining recognition as an emerging talent. The singers offer soulful, melodic, foot tapping acoustic tunes that provide a laid-back bonfire-on-the-beach atmosphere. With good friendship and solid songwriting infused with influences like Xavier Rudd, John Butler Trio, Tallest Man On Earth and other fine acoustic music, the duo is all about good music and good people.
