Sing carols in the park

BEAUTIFUL Bellevue Park near Southbroom will be the venue for a special family Christmas happening.

The Ramsgate Lions and the Ramsgate Conservancy members will host a carols by candlelight evening at Bellevue Park on Tuesday, December 17 at 6pm for 6.30pm. They invite all local and visiting families to join them.

Father Christmas is expected to pop in during the course of the evening. However, instead of handing out gifts he asks all the children there to bring a present with them. He will collect the presents and will hand them out to needy children.

Delicious hot dogs and cold drinks will be supplied for the hungry and thirsty. ‘Daddy cold drinks’ will also be available. Candles and song sheets will be supplied for a small donation.Sue Nielsen will make the music and Mari Webster, along with some members of the Hibiscus Choir, will lead the singing.
