South Coast residents hold AGM
MEMBERS are urged to attend the annual general meeting of the KwaZulu-Natal South Coast Ratepayers’ and Residents’ Association, where a number of important issues will be discussed.
It will take place at the activities room at Uvongo Library on Tuesday, February 10 at 5pm.
The chairman’s report and the financial report for the 2014 corporate year will be read and office bearers will be elected for this year.
There will be input from the Hibiscus Coast and Ugu District municipal managers and an address by Kate Marden from Hibiscus Coast on the next property valuation exercise. Sean Larkins will talk about the ratepayers’ database and membership details will be updated.
Regarding future meetings, after the AGM the ratepayers’ association will hold bi-monthly meetings on April 8, June 9, August 11, October 13 and December 8.
Hibiscus Coast monthly meetings take place on January 27, February 24, March 31, April 28, June 30, July 28, August 29, October 27, November 24 and December 8.
Hibiscus Coast council came out of the year-end recess on January 16 and goes into recess from April 3 to 10, July 6 to 17, October 5 to 9 and from December 9 until January 15 next year.
