Tibetan Buddhist monk to teach in Uvongo

All are welcome to attend two workshops being held at the Uvongo Library activity room.

Chamtrul Rinpoche is an authentic recognised master from the Tibetan Buddhist tradition. He teaches worldwide and this is his ninth visit to South Africa and his third consecutive visit to the South Coast.

Chamtrul comes directly to South Africa from his European and American tours.

The coast is incredibly blessed that he is visiting yet again and he has chosen topics which, while Buddhist in orientation, will be of interest to many seekers of other spiritual paths.

Teachings are free of charge, but donations (dana) towards Chamtrul’s travel expenses will be very welcome.

The first workshop, on five elements and five emotions according to Tibetan Buddhism, will be held on Wednesday, September 5 from 5.45pm to 7.45pm.

Chamtrul will teach on what the elements are, how they affect our emotions and their impact on our lives.

Second workshop (about karma and reincarnation) will be held on Thursday, September 6 from 5.45pm to 7.45pm.

Chamtrul will teach on how karma and reincarnation are interconnected and how they play out in our lives.

He will teach for one-and-a-half hours and devote a half-hour to questions.
