Top musos offer holiday vibe

Multi-instrumentalist Greg Georgiades will share a stage with Hugo de Waal at The Rock Music Bistro in Umzumbe this Sunday.

THE new year kicks off with some great vibes at The Rock Music Bistro in Umzumbe.

This Friday, January 2, is reggae night at the popular music venue, with ‘Word Sound ‘n Power’, a reggae band from Amanzimtoti, back by popular demand. The band’s last Rock gig was a great hit, so come and dance the night away to all those fun reggae tunes. Music starts at 8pm.

Enjoy music by two very special guests at this week’s Sunday afternoon ‘Pull in, Plug in and Play’ session, hosted by Oscar Swanlund. They are award-winning multi-instrumentalist Greg Georgiades and Hugo de Waal, a great guitarist, who is senior lecturer in guitar at Witwatersrand and Pretoria Universities and at Tshwane University of Technology.
