Top talent on show at Lions’ Expo

A PERFORMANCE by South African heart-throb and the 2009 South African Idols winner Jason Hartman will be one of the main attractions at the Lions’ Outdoor and Leisure Expo at Port Shepstone Country Club from Friday, May 23 to Sunday, May 25.

Jason and his band recently wowed audiences in Monaco where they performed at the Monaco Grand Prix and opened for an Eagles concert.

He last visited Port Shepstone as part of his ‘Rock ‘n Ride for Rhino’ fund-raising tour of South Africa. This time Jason will perform at the the main entertainment tent at the expo on Saturday, May 24, from 8pm. Tickets will be available at the main gate.

The traditional ‘Lions’ Laugh out Loud’ comedy slot will be filled by three funny, talented Durban cabaret stars in Gary McKenzie, John Didlick and Grant Bell, collectively known as the Gee Jays.

Passionate, super-talented singer songwriter HunTer, who has four albums to her credit, will present a programme of ballads, rock, country and pop music in the SAB Entertainment Tent on Sunday, May 25, from 1pm.

Don’t miss motorbike stuntman Brian Capper in action at the show on Saturday, May 24 and Sunday, May 25. One of his most noteworthy feats was to ride over the arch of Durban’s Moses Mabhida Stadium in 2011. To do this he had to negotiate 550 steps to the top and then another 500 steps down the other side.
