Tourism packaging workshop – addressing the weakest link
Packaging tourism product is nothing new yet it still retains top spot in attracting and securing business. It becomes the decision maker and the deal breaker.
Presenting special offers, value adds, group rates and things to do whilst visiting an area makes it all that much easier for prospective clients to click that `yes’ button.
After the resounding success of the “Power of One” workshop held last year, South African Tourism in association with South Coast Tourism have joined forces again to offer its members and stakeholders a product packaging workshop – at no cost to themselves.
The action packed workshop will cover valuable market insights and trends as well as include product packaging information relevant to various key markets.
Says Ugu South Coast Tourism CEO Mr Justin Mackrory `I urge tourism businesses and individuals to take up this opportunity. We have so much to offer on the South Coast yet we are seeing only a small percentage of conversions take place. The hard truth is that we are not able to hold the attention of the hungry markets out there due to the lack of packages offered. This is a core function of any business – and surprisingly seems to be one of the weakest links for so many. Our mandate is to market your packaged offerings; therefore we need you to provide us with the goods. This workshop shows you how, and why – the psychology. Run by the experts, this is one opportunity you cannot afford to miss’.
