Tuesday Rostrum learns more about learning

Debra Bouwer will be the guest speaker at the September Tuesday Rostrum meeting.

Tuesday Rostrum will host guest speaker Debra Bouwer at its luncheon on September 11 for a talk entitled ‘On this ice at -40ºC in search of an education’ – a tale about a frozen river and the Zanskari people in India.

Debra believes that learning and study is the key to an active mind and has lectured at several universities for over eleven years.

She has a master’s degree in Sociology, as well as a MBA and a master’s degree in Egyptology. One of her passions is mountain climbing and she has climbed several mountains around the world.
