Walk our sunny shores
MPENJATI honorary officers invite all local nature lovers to explore the shoreline with them at a shells and marine life walk and talk.
If you would like to be part of this entertaining environmental morning, meet at the car part on the south bank in Mpenjati Reserve on Saturday, May 30, at 8am for 8.30am.
Honorary officer Debbie King will give a short talk about the local marine life. Everyone will then set off for a walk from the southern bank of the Mpenjati River to Palm Beach. The walk will include shell identification and exploration of the inter-related marine species and tidal habitats.
Bring hats and sunscreen. Unfortunately no dogs will be allowed. Entrance fees of R20 for adults and R15 for children will include the gate fees. Funds raised will be used for ongoing Mpenjati honorary officers projects.
