Luzuko strikes the right note at talent contest

A TOTAL of 38 contestants, the young and the not-so-young, shared the limelight on stage at a talent contest held at Southcoast Mall last Saturday.

Entry was open to everyone, from children to adults and categories included drama, dance, musical instruments and singing.

The winner of the talent contest was singer Luzuko Namba. Second place went to the Outlaw Players dance crew and Gal-Lee Tal finished third.

Contestants Joshua Pillay, Chevelle Moodley, Keisha Harrichand, Tehila Helberg and twins Tayla and Jade de Wet received spot prizes for their passion and enthusiasm.

Event coordinator Mark Thornton-Smith from One Way, thanked all sponsors for making the event a success and sponsoring prizes for the winners.
