‘Suicide Bend’ strikes again

The driver was arrested.

A DRIVER and his vehicle landed up in the Damba river at the notorious ‘Suicide Bend’ in Sunwich Port last Saturday afternoon. The vehicle smashed through the bridge railings before plunging into the water below. The driver was not injured but was arrested for being under the influence of alcohol. Motorists are advised to approach with caution while the scene is being cleared.
