New journey for Umkomaas poet and author

The local youth advocate aims to help others share their talents as well.

Ekta Somera of Umkomaas continues to shine as a young creative, while now offering similar opportunities to others in the same field.

She is happy to announce that Paper Trail Literary Journal (which she founded) is expanding into Paper Trail Literary Press.

What began as a space for young writers in South Africa to share poetry, short stories and creative work, is now growing into something new.

“We will now also be helping writers bring their own books to life,” she explained.

”Paper Trail has always been about one thing, helping people leave something behind through their words. This next step continues that mission in a deeper way.”

Ekta is open to working with poets, short story writers and independent authors.
