HEATHER Tomlinson once again came to entertain the pupils with an amazing puppet show. Port Shepstone Junior pupils were taken on a safari adventure last Thursday and learned about the many different wild animals and how to care for them in their own environment. Pupils were further taught about the tragedy of rhino poaching and how this affects our wildlife, as well as our country.
Sadly, tuck shop assistant Jackie Beukes died on Sunday morning. Jackie will be sorely missed by the staff and pupils of the school, as she selflessly gave up her time to help in the tuck shop, library, computer and office. Jackie will always be remembered as an unassuming, quiet and very loyal person.
