HLANGANANI Preparatory held its debut ‘Carols by Torchlight’ at school last Tuesday evening. Jean Marx, a part-time librarian and the organiser of this event, put in many hours of preparation with pupils from every grade. There was good support from parents, which contributed greatly to the success of the function. The tuck shop appreciates Old Mutual’s donation of an electric frying pan, which will come in handy.
Schools close on December 4 and the principal and staff wish all pupils and families a happy holiday over the festive season, with a reminder for pupils to keep safe and healthy, and return to school on January 15, well-rested and ready for work.
