HIBBERDENE Academy held its final assembly last Wednesday, the last day of school, and coupled this with the awards ceremony. Many pupils excelled this year, but many still do not understand how hard they have to work to achieve the top awards. The principal, Thalia Simpson, wished pupils and staff a happy holiday, but emphasised the need to ‘stay safe’ and return to school in January. The school thanks the Herald for publishing Hibberdene Academy’s news throughout the year and wishes everyone a happy Christmas and best wishes for a successful 2014.
