Ward 12 residents to vote

RESIDENTS of Ward 12 are reminded of an upcoming by-election, which will be held on February 19.

Registration takes place this weekend, on January 11 and 12. Voting stations will open at 8am and close at 5pm on both days.

The vacancy has come about as a result of the death of ward councillor Mike Henderson.

Registration will take place at the following Ward 12 voting stations: Maris Stella School, African Apostolic Mission Church, Port Shepstone Secondary School, and Umtentweni Town Hall.

All eligible voters residing in Ward 12 are encouraged to visit voting stations to register, re-register, or verify their registration status.
