Wellness workshop in Pennington creates confidence
The free event helped women find their spark.
Women from across the mid-South Coast community recently gathered in Pennington for a free styling, beauty and makeup workshop.
The event was held at and hosted by Bloom Health and Beauty Spa and focused on confidence, self-care and wellness.
The workshop created a warm and welcoming atmosphere where guests enjoyed learning about skincare, makeup and styling from local professionals within the beauty industry.
Attendees were treated to complimentary skincare samples sponsored by Nimue Skin Technology, giving guests the opportunity to experience the products firsthand while learning more about skincare routines and treatments. The skincare demonstrations added an educational and interactive element to the morning.
Hair styling for the workshop was done by Stash (Nastasha Le Roux) from Bloom, helping create polished looks throughout the event. Makeup artist Lia du Preez from Mooiste Meisie conducted a live makeup demonstration with model Gina Tedder, sharing beauty tips, techniques and product application advice with attendees.
Fashion also formed part of the experience, with Nixz Fashion – maker and owner Nicole Jaffar, adding a stylish touch to the workshop. Guests were able to see how fashion, hair and makeup can work together to create a complete and confident look.
“The morning was about helping women feel confident and comfortable in themselves while also showing how fashion can be fun, accessible and empowering,” said Nicole Jaffar.
“It was wonderful to see everyone enjoying themselves and leaving inspired.”
The morning was described as uplifting and inspiring, leaving guests feeling empowered, confident and cared for.
