It’s almost tube race time!

Funds raised go to children in need.

THE 36th annual Port Shepstone Bullslingers’ tube race will take place on the Mzimkhulu River on Saturday, February 22.

Bullslingers is a club which raises funds for children in need.

The Mzimkulu is the second swiftest flowing river in the province and is sure to deliver some thrills and spills.

The race started as a fun event when a few completely bonkers chaps that decided it would be a good idea to float and paddle 20km down a swift flowing river.

One thing led to another and the race was soon a very well attended fund-raising event for the club, drawing as many as 1 500 participants at its peak.

Contact 076 9773883 or email info@bullslingers.co.za. Local tickets can be purchased from Coastal Laundromat in Port Shepstone, 039 6824277.
