THOBANI Brian Mbali (26), who was arrested for being in possession of 20 straws of whoonga and six mandrax tablets, appeared in the Ramsgate Magistrate’s Court last week.
Mbali, from Masinenge informal settlement, was arrested in Quarry Road in Uvongo in October last year. He has been charged with possession of stolen property, dealing in drugs, and possession or the use of drugs. He will appear in court again on February 26.
In a separate case, Lucas Dabristo Nhlanhla (42) was arrested for being in possession of a .22 revolver and ammunition in Gamalakhe on September 26 last year. He will appear in court on February 17. He is currently out on bail of R1000.
