Run4Ramsgate returns this Saturday

Expect lots of exciting prizes, a raffle with fantastic goodies and a silent auction.

Remember the fun had last year? Well, let’s do it all again!

The Ramsgate Ratepayers’ and Residents’ Association will host the second annual Run4Ramsgate 5km family fun run on July 11.

Open to all ages and fitness levels, the event invites participants to run, walk, jog or stroll the scenic route, with well-behaved dogs on leads also welcome.

Registration starts at 08:30, with the fun run getting underway from the Ramsgate Tidal Pool at 09:30.

The route follows the picturesque Ramsgate Ramble to the halfway point at Big Tree Beach before returning to the tidal pool. Prize-giving and a raffle draw will take place after the event.

Entry costs R50, with all proceeds going towards the maintenance and beautification of the Ramsgate Ramble, public spaces and the village environment.

In addition to the fun run, everyone can enjoy food and refreshments, a raffle, silent auction and the opportunity to purchase Ramsgate T-shirts and peak caps.
