WITH the extremely hot weather, the swimming pool has been a very busy place at Creston College. The ‘learn to swim’ programme is in full swing and the pre-primary and junior primary pupils are learning their strokes.
A round of mid-week fixtures took place in the College Phase vs Suid-Natal. Both games were won by Creston and the scores were as follows: 1st XI game – Creston scored 112/9 and then proceeded to bowl out Suid-Natal for 111, thus winning the game by one run with Creston batsman Kyle Flanagan scoring 33 (best batsman on the day). In the U15 game, Creston bowled Suid-Natal out for 60 and then reached the score with five wickets down. Creston won the game by five wickets and Michael Scott of Creston scored 30.
