Southcity equestrian team member Nicole Higson came second on her horse Braveheart last weekend.
SOUTHCITY Christian Schools now has an equestrian team put together by the pupils who took part in the SANESA school showjumping competition last Sunday. Pupil Janey van Lingen and her horse Liquorice, competed in the 60cm class, but Liquorice, being a beginner horse, refused to jump twice and unfortunately couldn’t complete. Nicole Higson competed on Braveheart in the 70cm class against 25 competitors and came second. A team of four girls will be representing Southcity at the next competition in March.

Southcity Preparatory welcomed some new teachers to the staff complement this year and the school is delighted to have them.
Pupils had a wonderful time creating crazy socks to wear to school last Friday and great fun was had by all. Winners chosen from each class received a slab of chocolate.
