HIGHLIGHTED this week at Creston was the matric dance 2014 invitation ceremony. The objective was for the gr 11 pupils, (who organise the matric dance) to give the 2014 matrics their invites to the dance, which takes place on Friday, April 11. At the ceremony, Dean Jones and Bianca Huizinga gave a polished display as masters of ceremony and the matrics were asked to collect their invites on stage.
There was not too much sport this week because of poor weather, however the U11 cricket match against Suid-Natal went ahead and the results were U11A Suid-Natal 175, Creston 136, Ben Strydom made 52 not out and Oliver Currie took three wickets for 15 runs. Creston lost by 39 runs. In the U11B game, Creston were 56 all out and Suid-Natal 57 for three, with Creston losing by seven wickets.
