WITH the interhouse swimming gala scheduled for next week, pupils are hard at training for this very exciting event. Heats in preparation for the gala are over and parents are reminded that the gala will take place on February 20 at 2.30pm.
Many pupils took part at the athletic trials for the Ogwini Ward last Friday and 14 qualified, progressing to the circuit eliminations which will be held at the Ugu Sports and Leisure Centre this week.
PSSP cricket teams got off to a slow start last week and all faced the mighty Izotsha, who certainly taught them a lesson or two. It never dampened their spirits as they look forward to challenging Margate Primary and Suid-Natal Primêr this week.
Pupils Declan Lloyd and Ben Junior Malamba took part in the U11 double wicket tournament held at Suid-Natal Primêr last Saturday. Congratulations to Ben Junior who received an award for best fielder.
Senior Primary recently welcomed Dr Nomsa Buso from Mtwalume Hospital to assembly last Friday. Dr Buso gave an interactive talk about healthy eating, sleeping and exercising and pupils thoroughly enjoyed the motivational presentation.
