PORT Shepstone Junior Primary challenges other schools and businesses to go ‘colourful’ for the Cancer Association of South Africa’s (Cansa) annual Shavathon. The school hosted its very own Shavathon for its pupils last Friday. Staff from Cansa, Port Shepstone were in attendance and carefully decorated pupils’ heads with an array of colours.
Everyone is encouraged to get their hair sprayed or shaved at various malls on the South Coast on March 1. Staff at businesses can get sprayed between February 24 and 28. The money raised from these events will be used to continue Cansa’s lifesaving service to the community.
