VALENTINE’S Day was celebrated appropriately with a dance last Thursday night, organised by the gr 11 matric dance committee. On Friday, the school celebrated with Valentine’s gifts and cards and it was great to see so many parents and teachers involved in these celebrations.
Last Saturday, the Creston marimba band entertained the crowds at Shelly Centre. Creston College’s marketing team accompanied the band and kept spectators informed about the school and its offerings.
The annual KICCSSA gala took place last Friday at Ashton International School in Ballito. Creston took part against seven other schools and was placed fourth overall. Samantha Labuschagne was the most successful swimmer achieving first places in the 50m backstroke, freestyle and 100m individual medley and second in the 50m breaststroke and butterfly.
