PORT Shepstone Senior Primary’s boys performed much better in cricket matches last week. U11A team played against Margate Primary scoring winning runs in the 14th over, losing one wicket. Declan Lloyd top scored with 28n/o. In the match against Suid-Natal Primêr, PSSP scored 99 runs for the loss of two wickets in 20 overs. Batsman of the match was Ben Junior Malamba (47n/o). U13A team lost against Suid-Natal last Tuesday, but won by nine wickets on Thursday against Margate Primary.
On February 24, there will be a production entitled ‘The Secret Dream of Boris The Bully’ at the school at a cost of R10.00 per pupil.
A CANSA representative will address a special assembly next Friday at a fee of R5 per pupil and all funds collected will be donated to CANSA. Parents wishing to assist must send a note in pupils’ homework books.
Deputy principal, S’khumbuso Mbatha remains unwell, is currently in hospital and not expected to return this term. She is wished a speedy recovery.
