CRESTON’S interhouse gala took place in very hot weather last Wednesday. This was a great event with plenty of support from staff and parents. Swimming was a of a high standard with Falcon winning the Senior Primary gala, Eagle the College phase gala, and Falcon the combined gala. Outstanding performance of the day went to Samantha Labuschagne, who broke five records in the individual medley, backstroke, breaststroke, butterfly and freestyle.
Last Thursday evening, the gr 11s hosted grades 7 and 8 from Creston and surrounding primary schools at the annual Creston College ‘cook off’. Seven teams competed at this successful social occasion and many new friendships were forged.
Creston further hosted the first of the now well-known ‘Open Days at the College’ last Friday. At least 70 South Coast parents converged on Creston to hear why Creston College is considered to be ‘the choice for the 21st century’. Parents and pupils were given a tour through the College Phase campus.
