LAST Monday, PS Senior Primary was visited by Productions 2000, a professional theatre company which staged ‘The secret dream of Boris the bully’. The 45 minute production highlighted the importance of values, namely, honesty, responsibility, respect and hard work.
The interhouse swimming gala took place last Thursday and saw Barracuda House crowned as champions once again, followed very closely by Garrick House. The event was well supported by parents as well as former scholars of PSSP. Well done to junior victor, Keytin Vorster, junior victrix, Abigail Saunders, senior victor, Nathan Bodley and senior victrix, Kayla McKenna who received awards.
In U13 cricket against Creston College last week, the B team were all out for 79 runs. U13A boys against Creston won their game by 7 wickets. This week sees the final fixtures of the term against Southcity College.
The CANSA Shavathon fund-raiser takes place at the school on February 28. Pupils may have their hair sprayed at a cost of R5 and all money raised will be donated to CANSA. Parents wishing to assist must contact the school.
Representatives from the Turton Community Health Centre visited our school last Friday. Pupils were reminded about the importance of keeping healthy teeth. Dr Ranjiv Dundraj (dentist) and Wandisa Ndindwa (oral hygienist) demonstrated how to brush and floss teeth properly.
