IZOTSHA Primary hosted a most successful and well attended ‘High School Fair’ last Thursday evening. Thirteen high schools from the South Coast, Durban, Pietermaritzburg and the Midlands all exhibited wares.
The school’s gr 3 cricket boys played in a mini-cricket tournament at Suid-Natal Primêr last weekend. Izotsha won both its matches against Port Edward and Creston. Well done to all pupils who displayed excellent sportsmanship.
The intermediate and senior phase swimming gala was held last Tuesday with much excitement, jubilation and anticipation amidst the cheering and jeering from eager spectators. Panther house was the overall winner, with Jaguar coming second and Leopard third. The spirit trophy was awarded to Jaguar house. Age group winners were Kai Heilckert and Cara Schlebusch (U10), Joshua Parry and Keara Dunford (U11), Bradley Gets and Ava-Mae Lilje (U12), Dylan Foggan and Skyla Snyman (U13). Junior victrix ludorum was Keara Dunford and Joshua Parry was victor ludorum. Senior victrix ludorum was Ava-Mae Lilje and victor ludorum went to Dylan Foggan. The foundation phase fun gala was held last Friday with Leopard house winning overall.
