DESPITE the rain, the Izotsha junior primary championship gala continued as it had already been rescheduled after being postponed the previous week. The inclement weather miraculously halted for the duration of the gala. Age group winners were gr 1, Hannah Parry and Mason Hielckert; gr 2 Melissa Bense and Cade van Tonder; and gr 3, Katie Nortjie and Bruce Borman. Several pupils attended the lower South Coast trials at Southcity last Friday.
The U13A cricket team played against Southcity with Izotsha making 126 runs and Southcity 72. Ross Klusener made 61 runs and Thomas Schnackenberg 21. Ross Klusener was man of the match.
