Second missing girl’s body recovered
A police helicopter is assisting with the search for the third teen.
FOUR days after three girls went missing and one was found dead in a river, a second girl has been found by police, in the same river in St Faiths. The girls, aged 13, 14 and 15 went missing when they went to fetch firewood on Monday this week.
Police spokesman, Lieutenant-Colonel Zandra Wiid said that Warrant Officer Marc Wiid, Sergeant Rommel da Rosa and Constable Ronald Cwele from Port Shepstone K9 unit were lowered by police helicopter into the gorge at St Faiths where they retrieved the body of the second girl (13). Lt-Col Wiid said the search for the third missing girl is still continuing.
