Good news for Port Edward Baptist Church

Together, Rev Per Jansson and his wife Nan will be a productive team.

AFTER the faithful prayers of the Baptist church family in Port Edward, the congregation warmly embraced the new ‘full-time’ pastor, the Reverend Per Olof Jansson and his wife Nan Hee.

The pastoral couple, who has had many years of ministry experience with Rosebank Union Church in Johannesburg, has two children, a son and a daughter, who are both married, each with two children, all living in Stockholm, Sweden.

Pastor Per is a graduate of the Baptist Theological College of Southern Africa. He has an interest in Biblical understanding of social justice, church history and a special concern for Christian counselling. His wife Nan is an outgoing and networking partner with a great heart for hospitality and oriental cooking. Together they will be a productive team for Christ within the community.

Their official induction was last Sunday and the congregation wishes the pastoral couple a long and happy stay on the South Coast.
