A MAN (21), who was found in possession of 124 parcels of dagga, 18 straws of heroin and two mandrax tablets, was arrested at the Port Shepstone taxi rank recently.
He will appear in court soon for dealing in drugs.
This drug bust comes after police swooped and arrested several people for being in possession of drugs.
Nokolunga Shezi (25) was arrested in Betania after her house was searched by Warant Officer Patrick Gosling and Constable Travis Dickens from Port Shepstone POP, together with Constable Joseph Cele and Sergeant Mbuso Ndlovu from Port Shepstone K9 unit.
She was found in possession of 1.2kg of dagga and two fridges containing various bottles of liquor. Shezi was charged with dealing in liquor and dagga. She paid R1500 admission of guilt.
A man (37) was arrested for being in possession of three parcels of dagga, which he hid inside an electric box, at the bus rank in Port Shepstone. He with charged for possession of dagga and will appear in court soon.
Police also arrested a man (34) in Margate for the possession of 15 parcels of dagga, which he hid amongst tyres at his place of work.
