IT has been more than a year since well-known South Coast businessman Robin Bothma was gunned down in the bedroom of his Edward Avenue home in Uvongo.
Mr Bothma and his wife Jill had attended a party on April 5. When the couple arrived home, Jill went into the kitchen where she was accosted by two balaclava-clad men.
They covered her head with a jacket and pushed her to the floor, demanding money and the keys to the safe.
Seeing the housebreakers roughing up his wife, Robin pushed the panic button in the bedroom. One of the intruders shot him in the head, killing him instantly.
The men fled on foot with a cellphone and an old watch. No arrests have been made since.
Last year several people were questioned and were subjected to a polygraph examination and released.
