THE men in blue are on a mission – to eradicate drug dealers and those illegally selling liquor.
Two women in possession of dagga were recently arrested by Warrant Officer Patrick Gosling, Constable Travis Dickens, Constable Lee Frost from Port Shepstone POP and Sergeant Mbuso Ndlovu from Port Shepstone K9 unit.
The members arrested a woman, (39), with six kilograms of dagga with a street value of R8460, at her home in Ezinqoleni on Monday this week.
Police spokesman, Lieutenant-Colonel Zandra Wiid said this was after police followed up on information and searched her home.
She said a woman, (44), was arrested on the same day in Harding, for being in possession of 1.2 kilograms of dagga which was hidden in a 10-litre container in her house.
The street value of the confiscated dagga was about R1692. Both will appear in Harding and Ezinqoleni courts respectively for dealing in drugs.
Lt-Col Wiid said that during the same operation a man, (41), was arrested in Harding for dealing in liquor on his premises and a man, (39), was arrested in Ezinqoleni for the same offence.
