A 37-YEAR-OLD man was arrested for dealing in dagga at the Port Shepstone taxi rank last Saturday.
Police spokesman Lieutenant-Colonel Zandra Wiid said Sergeant Thabane Mofokeng from the K9 Unit in Port Shepstone arrested the man after he was caught selling dagga to another man. “He had 41 parcels of dagga weighing 186 grams as well as cash and a cellphone which were confiscated,” said Lt-Col Wiid.
Dagga sells for R1.41 a gram. The man was due to appear at the Port Shepstone Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday this week for dealing in drugs.
