A CASH in transit vehicle was robbed at the Sea View garage at Mzamba, near the Wild Coast Sun, at about 7.30am this morning.
The van was about to leave the service station when three men armed with rifles confronted the two security guards in the vehicle.
The men demanded cash. They then fled, taking with them an undisclosed sum of money and the firearms belonging to the security guards.
The gang fled towards Port Edward in a black Audi. Mzamba police are investigating. No arrests have been made.
