Church helps the patient patients

Standing in long queues in chilly weather is a thing of the past.

THE AGS Church has been kind enough to allow the Shelly Beach clinic to dispense medicine to its patients at its premises in Shelly Beach.

This occurs twice a month and the church also goes the extra mile, giving patients tea and coffee while they wait for their medication.

Clinic volunteers Erika Albracht and Rose Korsten said that they are extremely thankful to AGS Church’s Pastor Drievus Erasmus for his kindness.

The days where the patients have to line up in long queues in chilly weather for their medication is a thing of the past.

Now they have chairs to sit on and a hot cup of coffee or tea to warm them up. This gesture is highly appreciated and has generated much joy among the patients.
