Jazz festival was spectacular
The party went on and on ... not that the people minded.
THE Ugu Jazz Festival 2014 left its spectators, who came from all parts of the province, amazed by the impressive organisation of the event as well as the performances that took place throughout the four days.
The event opened with a comedy show which took place at the Ugu Sports and Leisure Centre last Thursday.
This was followed by a jolly pre-party on Friday night where the crowd got to see their favourite celebrities performing live.
Last Saturday, the crowd was wowed by the various performers that were at the main event, with The Soil being one of the highlights of the night.
The popular featured deejays, namely Black Coffee, Vinny da Vinci, DJ Euphonik and Christos, were behind the decks entertaining the house music fanatics at the St Michael’s beach last Sunday.
Artists such as Hugh Masekela, Johnny Clegg, Zakes Bantwini, the Big Nuz, Uhuru, Ifani and Ringo Madlingozi had the crowd on its feet, partying throughout the night, on both Friday and Saturday nights.
