Retirement can be fun
The retirees tucked into mouth-watering confectionery.
GREAT camaraderie and delicious confectionery were the order of the morning at the South African Association of Retired Persons’ (SAARP) outing to Umthuzi Boutique Hotel and Conference Centre last Tuesday.
SAARP gives retirees a chance to make good friends and take part in an active social life.
The club enjoys five ‘out meetings’ and five ‘in meetings’ a year. At ‘in meetings’, a guest speaker is invited to entertain and at ‘out meetings’ members visit various venues and enjoy tea and eats.
At their visit to Umthunzi Boutique Hotel and Conference Centre, the senior citizens were given a talk on the establishment by general manager, Ryan Ringo.
