‘Nudie’ beach raises more than just eyebrows

The closing date for comment is tomorrow, Wednesday, August 20.

TIME is running out fast for you to voice your opinion on the possible establishment of a nudist beach on the South Coast, an idea first mooted in February this year.

Whether you are for the idea or against, the municipality needs to hear from you before tomorrow, Wednesday, August 20. Drop an email to info@hcm.gov.za and make your feelings known.

The IOL website reports that Hibiscus Coast Municipality’s  spokesman, Simon Soboyisa said ‘a lot of comments’ had already been received.

The site quotes Mr Soboyisa as saying ‘About 80 percent are opposed to the (nudist) beach and 20 percent support it’.

The matter will apparently be discussed and recommendations made at next week’s council meeting.  READ MORE ON THE PROPOSED NUDIST BEACH HERE.
