LAST Wednesday evening, the prep school wowed parents and family with their eisteddfod showcase evening. Pupils performed class choral verses and individuals who achieved high marks in the adjudication entertained all with poems.
Southcity pre-primary pupils were overwhelmed with excitement and enthusiasm for the long-awaited ‘Grandparents’ Day’ last Friday.

‘Princes and princesses’ waved happily to grannies and grandpas as they marched or skipped onto the stage to beautiful music. These little pupils wowed and surprised everyone with an excellent performance, singing their hearts out and remembering to do the actions to all songs.
Colbey Maartens played heartily on the bongo drum to Okekho Ofana Nojesu, ending off with a stunning dance from the ballet girls and then grandparents were invited to enjoy delicious eats.
At Southcity, pre-primary pupils are encouraged to express themselves through music and drama and the school is very fortunate to have the expertise of a very talented music teacher.
Everyone is invited to the school’s annual spring walk at the River Valley Nature Reserve (past Margate Golf Club) on September 7 at 1pm.
